SnapilyPro is an Online 3D Digital Lenticular Printing Service

SnapilyPro is an online lenticular 3D digital printing service for professionals that allows you to print all sorts of products showing 3D depth or movement/animation on a print – this includes things like invitations, name cards, big posters, lanyards, business cards, event promotions, displays, entry tickets and much more. The Galaxy Note 10.1 has gone through yet another revision. This time, Samsung has added a slot on the side to hold the stylus – or the S Pen as they call it – when it is not being used. Samsung had to slim down the stylus so that it could take up less place on the side but will be offering an S Pen Holder Kit, which has a much thicker form factor that should be a lot easier to use.

Microsoft to allegedly release iOS and Android version of Office in November

Rumors have been flying around about a version of Microsoft Office for the iOS for a while now but now BGR is reporting that not only will there be a version of Office for iOS but also for Android and both will be launching together in November. This information comes from one of their sources who has seen the application running on an iPad and says that it looks identical to the one we have seen before. After that image first came out, Microsoft latersaid that the screenshot in the picture was fake but The Daily , who leaked the screenshot, said it was authentic and that it was someone from Microsoft who demoed it to them

After a barrage of mediocre apps for iOS, Google has finally started to take the platform and its users seriously. Two weeks ago we saw the new google+ios, which not only bests its Android counterpart but also the stock Twitter and Facebook apps by a mile. Control a computer with the wave of your hand, Minority Report style

Well, meet this tiny USB gizmo, made by a company called Leap Motion, that promises to enable just that – and it’s just $70. They’ve got a great video to prove their point. Let’s hope that the real product delivers on the promises. The leap is able to track all ten of your fingers and track their individual movements down to a 1/100th of a millimeter. You can also stack up several devices to create a larger input area. Ten years ago sci-fi movie  starring Tom Cruise, showed a mesmerizing new way of controlling software interfaces – by waving your hands and making gestures in the air in front of the monitor (a giant monitor wall in the case of the movie). Well, we’ve all seen Kinect and what it has done to home gaming but we are yet to witness the next revolution – commanding your run-of-the mill Windows or Mac OS computer with similar hand gestures in the air.

Now we have come across a picture of this rather attractive special edition Galaxy Note being sold in the UK. Called the Galaxy Note Olympic Edition, the phone comes with a special back cover. The one pictured here is the Great Britain version that comes with a glossy black cover with the Union Flag on it.

Microsoft alters Windows 8 desktop look to match Metro UI

A lot of people have complained about the discrepancy between the two modes on Windows 8. As you may know, Windows 8 will ship with the new Metro UI as well as a standard desktop mode for legacy apps. While the Metro side of the OS looks modern and fresh, the desktop version looks almost similar to older versions of Windows and the two couldn’t be more different. Microsoft has heard your complaints and although they won’t be redesigning the desktop side in Metro they have made some changes to the existing UI to be more in sync with the Metro design language.

Apple releases OS X Lion 10.7.4 and Safari 5.1.7

Apple has released two new updates today, one for OS X Lion and the other for the desktop Safari browser. The OS X update brings Lion to 10.7.4 and includes some crucial security fixes. Recently OS X came under fire when the OS would display FileVault passwords in plain text file for users who upgraded from Snow Leopard to Lion and kept their FileVault settings. The issue has now been patched in the latest update

Google rolls out the Knowledge Graph, the smartest search of them all

Starting today, Google is introducing its latest gen search technology. Moving away from keyword indexing, the Knowledge graph makes a transition to a world of entities, nodes and relationships. As they put it, Google will now try and search for “things, not strings”. In the past 2 years Google has been working on the information database for the project and not it’s gathered “more than 3.5 billion facts about and relationships between these different objects”. In simple words, Google will recognize ambiguous search strings by understanding they might mean several things and it will adjust your search results based on your choice of topic. Still sounds vague? Well, watch this video that will hopefully explain it better than me

LG flaunts new custom Optimus UI 3.0 for its Android ICS smatphones

The key new features include a QuickMemo integration throughout the UI and enhanced lockscreen functionality. As any smiling South Korean girl would tell you (ok, not on their Samsung shift, they won’t), these innovations would certainly provide a more upscale user experience. LG came out public today, detailing a new concept for their custom UI skin to be used on their upcoming IceCream Sandwich smartphones. The company issued a lengthy press release that makes a lot of promising and does little in terms of actual demonstrations. LG actually have prepared a nice little list of all the changes they’ve implemented and I’m sure you’re dying to read it (if you are not here just for the girls). Panasonic Eluga V P-06D headed to NTT DoCoMo, with Android ICS and 13.2MP camera in tow

  Panasonic continues to expand its Eluga line of droids. The latest addition goes by the name Panasonic Eluga V P-06D, which is on its way to Japanese carrier NTT DoCoMo. It sits between the (or P-04D as is its NTT DoCoMo name) and the The Eluga V packs a 4.6″ LCD screen with 720p resolution and it’s dust and water resistant, just like its smaller counterpart, though it’s no longer as amazingly thin – its profile measures 10.7mm. Anyway, the Panasonic Eluga V P-06D comes with Android 4.0 out of the box and uses a dual-core 1.5GHz processor (it’s a Cortex-A9 CPU inside a TI OMAP 4460 chipset and not a Krait-packing Snapdragon S4 like the Eluga Power has). TMZ has now acquired photographs of Kutcher on the sets of the movie (which is reportedly being called ‘Jobs: Get Inspired’) dressed in Jobs’ famous blue Levi’s jeans and black turtleneck, which was originally designed by Issey Miyake exclusively for Jobs. And all of this strikes me as a bit odd.

Facebook mobile app and website layout update to show bigger pictures

Within a week of Google releasing an update for its iOS mobile app, Facebook too has released an update for its mobile apps and website that changes the way posts are displayed. The posts are no longer displayed in a contiguous manner but instead appear in their own separate boxes. But most importantly, images now appear 3x bigger than before and span from edge to edge. Albums are also bigger now and show thumbnails for the contained images arranged in a single large grid. You can see from the first two pictures how it looks and how it looked before in the third picture.

Nvidia officially announces the GTX 680, blows AMD out of the water in benchmarks

After an unofficial  yesterday, the first of the Kepler series of graphics cards, the Nvidia GTX 680, has now been officially announced. This is Nvidia’s flagship graphics card for now and is the fastest they have ever built. It uses the 28nm fabrication process, a first for an Nvidia GPU, along with some other new tech, such as GPU Boost. What GPU Boost does is it automatically increases the clock speed of the GPU when it is under load, from a base clock speed of 1006MHz to 1058MHz to provide better frame rates. But what this feature also does is it reduces the clock speed when the GPU is not being taxed, dropping down all the way to 324MHz during idle

Microsoft announces names of the Windows 8 editions

Microsoft has released the list of editions that Windows 8 will be sold in. As of now, there will be four editions, Windows 8, Windows 8 Pro, Windows 8 Enterprise and Windows RT. The first three will be available for PCs and tablet users running x86/64 processors and will be on sale whereas Windows RT will be exclusively for PCs and tablets running on the ARM platform and will not be sold but would rather ship built into the devices. NVIDIA announces GeForce GTX 670

NVIDIA has announced the third graphics card in the Kepler series called the GeForce GTX 670. As you can tell, it sits below the current fastest single GPU graphics card, the GTX 680, and is priced a $100 less at $399. Apple to drop Google Maps in iOS 6 in favor of in-house Maps with cool 3D mode

iOS 6 will reportedly ditch its current version of Maps with Google-driven data at the backend in favor of its own in-house Maps module. Apple releases iOS 5.1.1 update for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch

Apple released iOS 5.1.1 today for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. It is just a minor update that focuses on bug fixing rather than adding any new features. The following is the official changelog for the new update. As you can tell from the screenshot above, the update was also released as an OTA download for devices running iOS 5 and above and weighs in at just 54MB. If you have an iOS device running a version prior to iOS 5, you'd have to connect to iTunes to download the latest update. We haven't really noticed any of these bugs in the previous software version so we can't tell if the update really fixed them or not. If you did, then let us know in the comments below.

LG announces 84-inch 3D Ultra Definition TV, will show it to you in person at CES

LG is on a roll with the incredibly awesome televisions. After the55 inch lcd that we saw last week, which also happened to be the world’s largest OLED TV, today they have announced the gigantic 84-inch 3D Ultra Definition TV, which, again, is the largest in the world The key feature here is the Ultra Definition panel, which has a resolution of 3840 x 2160, four times the resolution of current Full HD panels. It uses LG’s Slim and Narrow Bezel design, which makes the display look like it’s going from edge to edge and does not jut out too much from your wall.
