We already know everything there is to know about the upcoming iOS 6 and let’s face it – it’s not going to be the jump Apple is trying to convince us it is. Everything is pretty much the same, with a few tweaks here and there, an overdue Facebook integration and extended Siri functionality. The major new feature with the iOS 6 is the new Maps app, now with TomTom map data and, of course, the addition of navigation. Well, people do use Siri and navigation for sure, but those people have also been using this same tired iOS interface for 6 years now. They need something new, refreshing and they are not getting it this year. Joost van der Ree published a few inspiring ideas that could easily fit into iOS, boosting the user experience along the way. Some of them are so obvious that makes you wonder why Apple didn’t come up with them in the first place. But maybe they have? 

Dropbox has just brough some good news to its Pro customers, doubling the available storage for the Pro 50 and Pro 100 plans. This means that if you subscribe to one of these you will get your 100GB and 200GB of storage, respectively, for the same price as before. Even if you are already a paying Dropbox customer you still get your quota doubled. And if that still doesn’t seem enough to you, Dropbox announced the launch of a whole new plan offering 500GB of storage. It will set you back $49.99 if you choose the pay monthly option or $499.99 for a whole year if you pay in advance

The ridiculously anticipated Tweetbot for Mac is nowhere near its final stage yet but the developers have taken note of the incredible demand and so they probably decided to release an alpha version for now. As you can expect, this version of the app will be buggy as it is still being developed but those who have used the app have already proclaimed it as the best Twitter client they have ever used.

Google has a tradition of doing unboxing videos of each of their Nexus devices. The videos aren’t made by Google themselves, merely sponsored, with Patrick Boivin being the real mastermind behind them. In each of these videos the theme has been a bunch of toy ninjas unboxing the phone, shot in stop motion animation. Where’s My Perry?  is the latest game from Disney for iOS and Android. The game is based on the previous and highly popular title  Where’s My Water?  but uses modified gameplay mechanics and different characters to warrant its existence as a separate game. Where’s My Perry?  stars Perry the Platypus, also known as Agent P from the Disney animated show Phineas and Ferb . Now those of you who are not six years-old would probably not recognize him but apparently he’s quite popular among the kids, which is why Disney chose to make an entire game around the character
